Why do I need one-to-one care?
Although you may be experiencing challenges or symptoms that are also experienced by others, we see your particular combination of experiences and life history as completely unique. For this reason, we deliver targeted, effective and individual therapeutic retreats that are tailored to your specific needs and preferences. In individual work, the practitioner is finely attuned to your needs alone and does not need to be concerned with balancing them with those of the group. There can be a deeper sense of safety that comes in one-to-one work, allowing you to go fully into your own process without the distractions that can arise in a group.
While we recognise the value of the group process, particularly with addictions, we also understand that for many people, recovery and healing is an intensely personal journey, one that for many reasons you may wish not to share with your peers. In a group, one can feel an expectation or pressure to share personal information that is uncomfortable to expose. Our one-to-one therapy moves at your pace with your needs prioritised. In short, we can provide you with a level and quality of care unattainable in a group facility.
