The Bay Drug & Alcohol Detoxification Program

At The Bay we offer a one week comprehensive drug and alcohol Detox Program providing optimal care and 24 hour support for this crucial process. Your detox will include medical supervision and care by registered nurses. Our focus is on your safety, comfort and the rapid restoration of your physical and emotional health.

Detoxification programs usually take four to seven days. All clients must have undertaken detoxification prior to commencing our Addiction Recovery Retreat.

Wholistic Detox for Drugs & Alcohol

As with all programs at The Bay, your drug and alcohol detox program is individually designed after comprehensive assessment of your needs by a multidisciplinary team: a doctor, naturopath, acupuncturist, psychologist and other practitioners as required. Your detoxification process takes place in the confidentiality, comfort and relaxing home-like atmosphere of your private residence.

During this sensitive time, you may receive gentle and supportive wholistic therapies such as massage, acupuncture, the support of your therapist, body/skin cleansing, pampering, beach walks and the time you need to rest and unwind. You will have plenty of time to ease into the next phase of your program.

People in detox may experience varying degrees of withdrawal symptoms. When held in a supportive environment and with appropriate care for your body, the experience can be gentle and for many it is revitalising.
